About Sevier County Worship Dot Info

Almost ten years ago I learned the joy and freedom of true worship to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

After many years as part of the worship community in Southeastern Pennsylvania, I moved to Sevier County to be part of the Worship Explosion about to happen in this area.

Recently I was led to create this resource for ALL worshippers in the area, both residents and visitors.

Satan loves religion because he can deal with that; Satan hates true worship because he is powerless against it.

This site has an ATOM newsfeed which you are welcome to add to your websites and your personal newsreaders.

Also, we will be building a directory of Weblinks to Sevier County churches. Several have been entered already and the directory will be updated regularly.

Please support this site by keeping us updated on worship events in Sevier County and also by covering us with a blanket of intercessionary prayer.

Who: The entire body of Christ throughout the nation and world

When: Saturday May 14, 2005

What: Jesus Day and March for Jesus

How:
1. Contacting the Jesus Day Richmond Office to coordinate Jesus Day in your church/ministry.
2. Attending the upcoming Jesus Day National Conferece in January (dates TBD) in Richmond, Virginia.

Why: To show your cities, states and countries that you love your cities, you love God and that God loves your cities.

Brief History: March for Jesus started in England in the 1980s when some local churches decided to take what they experienced in their churches out into the streets. Songwriter Graham Kendrick participated in some of these early attempts and wrote a series of songs that were appropriate for the outdoor expression of the church.
